1. Visualize The Social Life You Want

Creative visualization is a cornerstone of using the law of attraction, and you can use it to imagine and manifest the social life you want. Start by choosing a time of day that allows you to be undisturbed and relaxed. For example, perhaps before bedtime or first thing in the morning.

Sit comfortably, close your eyes, and focus on slowing and deepening your breathing until your mind feels calm and receptive. Next, build up a clear picture of the social life you want.

For example, you might choose to imagine yourself having the confidence to tell a funny story to a group of laughing people at a dinner table. Or, you could picture a cozy night at home with a new friend (thinking about comfort, safety, and trust you would feel in that setting). Spend 5-15 minutes in this visualization each time.

2. Refocus Your Attention

Holding on to negative thoughts and beliefs is one of the major pitfalls that people struggle with when they initially start trying to work with the law of attraction. Make a concentrated effort to reduce the negativity in your life by noticing that critical voice inside your head and deliberately denying it power.

Every time you think something negative about how others see you or start to entertain doubts about your ability to attract friends and build social connections, try writing down three positive things about yourself.

It is particularly useful to note positive features that are explicitly connected to your social life. However, anything that promotes self-confidence and gratitude will work.

3. Connect An Object To Your Intentions

A physical representation of your wishes really helps to enhance your belief that you can create the future you want. Some people find it particularly powerful to use stones that represent their goals. Many of these crystals can be related to your social goals.

For example, rose quartz represents unconditional love, whether romantic or platonic. Agate is connected to letting go of past hurts (such as those that may make you wary of forming new friendships).

Whether you choose a stone, crystal or something else, keep it on your person or sitting nearby as a continual reminder that you are constantly moving closer to manifesting your dreams.

4. Create More Elaborate Visualizations

As you become more familiar with the creative visualization process, you can start to experiment with additions that may enhance your use of the law of attraction.

One useful exercise involves thinking of a symbolic way to represent your goal and visualizing that image in addition to visualizing the more literal picture you have of your goal.

For example, you might imagine your body surrounded by a shimmering, rosy glow that represents being loved and cared for by friends. Or, you could picture a crowd of people cheering your name.

However, as long as the wording is positive and accurately describes your goals, you can say whatever feels right; trust your intuitions! Try repeating your affirmations three times before you start your day. Or, say them directly into the mirror before you leave for work.
