Maybe you’re skeptical about all the heart-warming stories you’ve said, or you have a particularly logical mind and just can’t bring yourself to embrace something that sounds so unusual.

Take a critical look at what is in your home too. For example, are you trying to manifest a new relationship while counterproductively surrounded by reminders of an ex you haven’t really let go?
Finally, it’s possible that you’re just wrong when you think the Law of Attraction isn’t working! This would be a happy outcome, as it means that what needs to change is the way you look at the world, rather than something major like your belief structure.
In particular, consider that you may be missing signs that indicate you’re moving closer to your goal; it’s common for those signs to look different than you expected, or for people to have failed to tap into the intuitions required to go where the Universe points.
The best thing you can do to make it easier to spot signs is to read up on what other people have experienced and to learn how to really tune into your gut feelings. When you feel an urge to do something, try something or talk to someone, go for it! You’ll soon begin to see that your heart knows more than your mind realizes.
