How to use your Daily Affirmations

  1. Take three deep breaths, inhaling and exhaling to a count of 10.

  2. Stand in front of a mirror and look yourself in the eyes. Smile, if it feels natural.

  3. Say your 9 affirmations out loud, slowly and clearly.

  4. Repeat them 3-5 times, really focusing on the meaning of each word.

  5. Take another three deep breaths, allowing your body to absorb the positive feeling of the affirmations.

What are affirmations? They are the action or process of affirming something to exist or to be true that harnesses emotional support or encouragement.

How do affirmations work? The practice of affirmations work by convincing your brain that positive visions can be real. A 2018 study found they help with uncertainty and self-worth. Future-focused affirmations tend to be more effective than dwelling on the past.
